Neera Kadiyala receives new funding from the ACCP Foundation Posted on December 14, 2021 Neera Kadiyala, COP P2 PharmD Student, received new funding as the PI, with Dr. Zackery Bulman as the mentor, from ACCP Foundation Futures Grants Program for a one-year grant for the amount of $5,000. The title of the project is “Novel Aminoglycoside Treatment Strategies for KPC-Producing K. pneumoniae.” Carbapenem-resistant bacteria, such as KPC-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae, can cause severe infections associated with high rates of mortality.
