Our ECCMID abstracts, led by second year fellows David Butler and Mark Biagi, evaluate the utility of a Chicagloand regional antibiogram, provide data on the pharmacokinetics of isavuconazole during CRRT, determine the activity of minocycline against MDR S. maltophilia, and elucidate optimal aztreonam-based combination regimens against MDR S. maltophilia and MBL-producing E. coli.
Our ASM abstracts, led by first year fellows Sam Qasmieh and Xing Tan, mark our entrance into the field of bacterial biofilms by evaluating the activity of eravacycline against S. aureus and A. baumannii biofilms.
